Founded in 1990 by Lucy Pitman-Wallace and Clare Horrell, Three Legged Theatre Company concentrate on new writing and new translations of European plays, placing emphasis on clarity of narrative and relationships. As a company we strive for top quality performances and production values. Above all “The play’s the thing”.
New writing that we have produced includes:
- Ground Zero by Adam Kimmel, nominated for the Verity Bargate Award
- A Thousand Days by Sara Clifford which was shorted listed for the Susan Smith Blackburn Award
- The Kingdom by Colin Teevan
We also produced the first English language production of The Marriage by Witold Gombrowicz, a classic of Polish literature and an early example of the theatre of the absurd.
